Aubrey de Grey is a British biogerontologist and researcher in biomedical gerontology. He is best known for his work on extending the human lifespan and developing technologies that can halt or reverse the aging process. He began his career in computer science before turning to gerontology. De Grey has published several books and articles on aging and lifespan extension, including 'Ending Aging' (2007) and 'The Mitochondrial Free Radical Theory of Aging' (1999). However, his work is controversial and not accepted by all experts in his field.

Aubrey Beardsley was an English artist and illustrator best known for his idiosyncratic black and white drawings and Art Nouveau-style illustrations.
