Holder is a US-American lawyer and politician of the Democratic Party. From February 2009 to April 2015, he was the United States Attorney General and thus Attorney General under US President Barack Obama. Eric Holder was the first African-American to hold this top position. He previously served as Deputy Attorney General in President Bill Clinton's administration from 1997 to 2001.
