Leila Hyams was an American film and stage actress and model, and vaudevillian who worked in the 1920s and 1930s. She appeared in a number of films, including Tod Browning's award-winning 'Freaks' (1932) as the wise-cracking but kind-hearted circus performer Venus, and the horror film 'Island of Lost Souls' (1932). Hyams began her career in the silent era and continued to work in talkies before retiring from acting in the 1940s.

Former US boxer Laila Ali is the daughter of the famous boxer Muhammad Ali. She started her career in 1999 and had a total of 24 fights, out of which she won 24. She had her last fight in 2007 and during her career she won the WBC and IWBF world titles in super middleweight word titles. Laila has also been involved in social and charitable activities, especially in the 'Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center' and in the 'Muhammad Ali Family Medical Center'.
