The book consists of 48 chapters and contains many visionary and symbolic representations dealing with such topics as the justice of God, repentance, the final judgment, and the future restoration of Israel.

King Ezekiel, actually Ezekiel Sutton, is a fictional character from the post-apocalyptic comic book and television series 'The Walking Dead' (since 2010). In the show, King Ezekiel is the leader of a community called 'The Kingdom' that lives in a former high school and tries to survive in a world full of zombies and other dangers. He wears a theatrical king's cloak and crown and speaks in a cultured, almost Shakespearean language. Ezekiel is considered by many fans of the series to be one of the most popular characters, largely due to his unique personality and eccentric appearance.

A former professional wrestler from Guyana, Rycklon Stephens had several ring names during his career. One of these was Ezekiel Jackson, which he primarily performed under and was best known as. Emanuel is a noted expert on health policy and was a key architect of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. Since 2020, Emanuel has been one of the 16 members of President Biden's COVID 19 Advisory Council.
