After the death of dictator Francisco Franco, Juan Carlos I became King of Spain and played a major role in transforming the country from an authoritarian dictatorship to a democratic monarchy. He was a staunch supporter of democracy and helped pass the Spanish Constitution of 1978, which defined Spain's political system. He received many awards for his role in restoring democracy in Spain, as well as for his international efforts and humanitarian activities. However, the last years of his reign were also marked by scandals and controversies that led to Juan Carlos I's eventual abdication in 2014.

During his military career, Juan Domingo Per????arned a reputation as a leader who championed the interests of workers and the poor. He was part of a group of officers who led a coup against the government of Ram????astillo in 1943 and was later appointed Minister of Labor. He founded the Justicialist Party, also known as the Peronist Party, and was elected President of Argentina in 1946. During his tenure, he implemented a series of social and economic reforms. In 1955, Per????as overthrown in a military coup and sent into exile. He returned to Argentina in 1973 and was re-elected as president.

Juan Diego (1474 - 1548)
In 1531, the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin four times near the hill of Tepeyac in Mexico City. The Virgin told him to ask the bishop of Mexico City to build a chapel on the spot where she had appeared. Juan Diego told the bishop about the apparitions, but the bishop was skeptical and asked for proof. During one of the apparitions, the Virgin told Juan Diego to look for roses on the hill and bring them to the bishop as proof. Juan Diego did indeed find roses on the barren hill, where flowers do not normally grow, and brought them to the bishop in his cloak, called a 'tilma'. When he opened the cloak, the image of the Virgin Mary appeared on the fabric.

Juan Manuel Fangio (1911 -1995)
Juan Manuel Fangio was a five-time Formula One World Champion, a record surpassed only by Michael Schumacher, and won a total of 24 Grand Prix races in his career. He made his international breakthrough as a racing driver in the late 1940s. He won his first two Formula One World Championships with Alfa Romeo in 1951 and 1954. In 1955, Fangio moved to Mercedes-Benz and won his next two world championships in 1955 and 1956, and in 1957 he won his fifth world championship for Ferrari. Fangio was considered not only the fastest driver of his time, but also an extremely smart and tactical driver who drove his races with thought and strategy.
